What do you see,
when you look outside a  window.

A changing face, an transition stage in my life.
Taking new challenges and walking different routes,
to reach my ultimate destination.

Over coming obstacles that,
may cut into my life.
Looking through the light that
guides me to the right direction.

Gazing at all the souls blissfully walking,
down my road wearing smart suits,
and grasping each and every,
Opportunity to achieve their goals.

Seeing what was once a single race leading,
the country, which now has become,
a multiracial community.

Glancing at the vehicles striding by
I spot only one carrying the sick passengers to the building
with the Red Cross where,
Saviours are there to aid and save those lives.

In my eyes I see the world and my life through one,
little square tiled glass door that opens and shuts.

What do you see
when you look outside a window

i tried hard not to be,
left some people wondering why,
while others were asking where,
to be what everyone strives to be;

i do not want to be rich,
nor i want to be famous,
i just want to be me,
just simple, plain old me;

some might say i am pretty boring,
maybe i am boring,
i could also be uncool,
to give a thought to each views,
is like pushing the dagger deeper
and deeper into myself;

forgive me, forget me,
i am not who you are searching for
erase the time you met me,
delete the moments we have been together,
never i existed in the first place,
never will we cross paths again,
think of me as a bad dream
and do not remember me for
i am just a stupid common man

hands clasped, eyes closed,
heads bowed in respect
everyone stood there
chanting a prayer within;

watching them from a distance
i could not comprehend the
need for such intricate
and passionate devotion;

stood there myself,
a long long time ago
unable to think of anything and
perplexed on what am i supposed to do?

i once stood there,
eyes closed, hands clasped
trying hard to understand
what the fuss was about;

watching the rituals and
the strange and bizzare acts of faith
pushed me into a corner
and forced me to question it all;

twelve years have passed,
countless theories and barrage of opinions
with more questions and very few answers
maybe it is safe to say god is an enigma!

at times i felt
i’ve come to the end of life
attempts to change
seems as futile as stupidity;

when the sun sets with a final red blaze
i tried to cross the borders of reality
into a world where my desires met
the dreams of tomorrow;

now i feel
i am on top of the world
nothing could go wrong
with my dreams coming true one by one
only time stands in the way of this one;

my whole life altered
in one single moment
giving a reason
for this mortal existence;

When you talk to me,
I feel like heaven when we talk,
I just can’t leave you
nor say goodbye to you;

So hard to write down
All I need to say
I find myself tongue tied
No right words come ’round
But each time I look at you
I hope you see it in my eyes
The love that shines for you;

searching for that longing touch
from the moment I looked into your eyes,
I knew my life was about to change,
i knew the love that i carry is
for you and you alone
